Jennifer L. Slater
President, Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer Slater has been President and Chief Executive Officer since July 2024. Slater is a business executive and global leader with more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. She has a broad range of expertise, including general management, engineering, finance, sales and product management and strategy. She previously served as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Performance Sensing, for Sensata, where she had full P&L responsibility for the global business segment. She also served as Group Vice President and General Manager Global OE for Clarios, LLC, where her focus was to transform the business to meet emerging vehicle electrification and autonomy needs. In this role, she was responsible for leading a global business for the Original Equipment customers and for developing and executing global new product strategies for the entire product life cycle, including Aftermarket. She worked at Johnson Controls International plc for 11 years in a series of senior positions, including a role as Vice President of Finance, Power Solutions.
Ms. Slater holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan at Dearborn and a Master of Business Administration from Walsh College. Ms. Slater was a 2017 STEP Ahead winner, that recognizes Women in Manufacturing by the Manufacturing Institute. She has been a Board Member for Valvoline (VVV) since July 2022.
Matt Pauli
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Matthew Pauli joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in November 2024. Mr. Pauli brings 24 years of experience in finance and for the past five years has held the role of Executive Advisor and Chief Financial Officer of CentroMotion, a global manufacturer of highly engineered products serving the transportation, agriculture, construction equipment and other industrial markets. There he was responsible for the global tax, treasury, accounting, information technology and legal functions. Previously, Mr. Pauli served in progressively challenging finance roles at Enerpac (NYSE: EPAC), including Corporate Controller/Chief Accounting Officer as well as Vice President, Finance for the former Engineered Components & Systems segment. He began his career at Ernst & Young and earned his Bachelors in Business Administration - Accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Chey Becker-Varto
Chief Commercial Officer
Chey Becker-Varto joined STRATTEC in November 2024 as Chief Commercial Officer. Previously, she served as Chief Commercial Officer at Vayan Group, where she doubled the sales pipeline, implemented more sophisticated customer relationship management systems, and established a prescriptive revenue forecasting process. Prior to that, Ms. Becker-Varto was Vice President of Sales-Americas, at Clarios. Earlier roles at JD Norman Industries and GST AutoLeather involved leading global sales and purchasing efforts, where she delivered growth, optimized procurement strategies, and enhanced organizational processes. She began her career at Lear Corporation where she advanced through roles of increasing responsibility. Ms. Becker-Varto holds a Masters in Information Management & Communications from Walsh College and a dual Bachelor of Science in International Business & Spanish. From Central Michigan University including study abroad in Morelia, Mexico.
Rolando J. Guillot
Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer
Rolando J. Guillot is the Senior Vice President, Operations since March, 2017. Previously Guillot served as Vice President of Mexican Operations, General Manager of Mexican Operations and Plant Manager of STRATTEC de Mexico.
Richard P. Messina
Vice President, Chief Technology Officer
Richard P. Messina is the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at STRATTEC since June, 2023. Previously, Rich held combined leadership positions of VP of Global Engineering and Purchasing since October, 2019 and was VP of STRATTEC's Global Sales and Access Control Products Engineering since August, 2013. He is a member of the management team of Vehicle Access Systems Technology LLC (VAST), a joint venture entered into by STRATTEC with two partners, since August, 2013. He first joined STRATTEC in 2008 as the Vice President of STRATTEC Power Access when STRATTEC and WITTE jointly acquired the Power Products group from Delphi Automotive Systems. Prior to STRATTEC, Messina was the Chief Engineer of Delphi Power Products and held several leadership roles within Delphi. Messina holds an MBA from Oakland University and Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering & Management Institute).
Linda Redmann
Chief People Officer
Linda Redmann joined STRATTEC in November 2024 as Chief People Officer. Her experience spans people leadership roles across world-class, high-growth organizations. She previously served as an Executive HR Consultant for Korn Ferry and Bolder HR, where she advised CEOs and leadership teams on human capital strategies, including talent acquisition, organizational design, and M&A integration. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of People and Culture at SomaLogic, where she led the HR efforts required for its transition to becoming a public company. At Zimmer Biomet, as Global Division Leader HR, Ms. Redmann drove cultural transformation and organizational redesign, supporting market share growth in a challenging industry environment. She also held senior roles at Surgical Solutions and Leica Biosystems. She earned her Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago and Bachelor of Business Administration from Tiffin University.
